Pievecavalli returns to Umbria: passion, history and culture all in one place

The fair dedicated to horses and culture of the territory is back at Città della Pieve. Pievecavalli 2014 will take place between July 18-20 and has now reached its 8th edition. As always the fair will be a traditional event starting with the Italian Championship for the Gruppi Storico Equestri (the Historic Equestrian Group) all the way down to the development of turism through historic itineraries, for example the Via dell’Alpe in Serra which has been used since Medieval times.
The main attraction at the fair will be the Nazional Exhibition of Horses of Citta di Castello. Lots of space will be given also to musicians and artist from the Umbria region as well as the local gastronomy, principally through the famous taverns of the Terzieri.
The fair is a place for all lovers of equestrian sport and events but not only. History, culture, food, music, tourism and passion for horses all come together in one unique place.
