Pius Schwizer wins six-bar challenge

The first day of the CHI Genève came to a close with the thrilling six-bar challenge.
After two wins for France and one for Holland, Switzerland was finally able to take the spoils thanks to its rider Pius Schwizer. The Swiss star was in action with Chidame Z – daughter to Chippendale Z.
In other Equestrian World, Harrie Smolders won the main event of the day with Zinius after a clear in a time of 61.28 seconds. Abel Said finished in the runners-up spot while the final podium slot went to Laura Kraut.
Italy’s Alberto Zorzi was ninth with Contanga in the above competition while Zorzi’s fellow countryman Piergiorgio Bucci was 11th in the middle race won by Benoit Cernin.
