PONYADI 2009: the champions of tomorrow here today

The Ponyadi event for young riders will take place at the Federal Equestrian Centre at Pratoni del Vivaro – Rocca di Papa (Rome) from September 3 to 5. The age-group begins at just five and goes up to 14 with the young stars of tomorrow taking part in 18 different disciplines plus two American demonstrations – Gimkana Western and Reining – as well as Polo. The event will begin with the Endurance competition and riders will be expected to understand the rules of the high and know how to behave on their mount by answering a questionnaire complied by the instructors. Around 600 young riders from all over Italy are expected to take part.
