Restyled Montefalco set for second appointment of Bac Technology Trophy

The Horses Le Lame Sporting Club, Montefalco, is preparing to award the “Bac Technology Trophy“ scheduled from 6 to 8 April in the A5* national show jumping competition under director Mario Breccia.
The outcome will be decided over two dates of the trophy (the first appointment already taken place on March 16/18), by competitors in the 115, 120 and 125 categories, to establish the distribution of 5,000 euros provided in addition to the prize pool assigned to the national team.
Present will be Olympic champion Stefano Brecciaroli, the first protagonist of the Umbrian season. Several of his “disciplinary colleagues“ will also take part. To name a few: Roberto Riganelli, Luca Mezzaroba, Emiliano Portale and Alice Bertoli.
To add further flavour is the FEI course designer Giuseppe della Chiesa. Among his “royalties“ it is enough to mention the 2016 European Championships, 3 Badminton editions – until 2016 – and the European Championships 2007. This time, however, he will be at Montefalco.
Mariano Ossa, Filippo Martini di Cigala and Christian Marini stand out among the hurdle exponents. The latter is among the protagonists at the Cavalli Grand Prix in Rome 2018.
The competitors will enter a field that, in view of the Central and South European Championships and the double appointment “Le Lame International“, has already changed its look. Starting from the external settings, to the set design of the arena, the restyling ensures full harmony with the surrounding landscape. Remaining of course are the riviera and two centuries-old olive trees in the field.
