Reward offered in horse deaths

Equestrian World arrives from Genoa that an anonymous donor has increased the reward from 1,500 to 2,000 Euros to help police find those responsible for the death of two horses who were found killed in the Aveto Park. The carcasss of the two animals were riddled with bullets used to hunt hares and had horse lovers up in arms which led to the reward. For a long time horses have been coming to the gardens around the park in search of food which has led to damage to property and a call for the mayor to take action. The incident saw a number of horse charities and the WWF put up the 1,500 reward but since then another 500 euro has been added from the unknown source.Enrico Bertozzi, a horse specialist, believes that the problem could be solved if the animals were in some way adopted.
