Sardinians shine at national championships

Gianleonardo Murruzzu has come second in the five year-old category for female horses at the young horses championships with Taissa Sarda.
From Oristano, Murruzzu shone and did his region of Sardinia proud at the national competition with a podium finish.
It promises well for the future as Sardinian riders continue to go from strength to strength also thanks to a number of its own competitions.
One of these is The Nuraghi Trophy reserved for young horses which helps in the development of future stars.
In other results for the Sardinian riders, Francesco Iriu came in 14th place with Unità in the female category for four year-olds while Antonio Murruzzu finished in fourth place with Urban de Piralei in the Criterium category for the four year old category.
