Scott Brash in fine form at LGCT 2018 in Mexico City

We have started the new season of the Longines Global Champions Tour with an irresistible Scott Brash, the Scotsman is the first winner of 2018 in Mexico City and the first qualified rider to participate in the new Longines Global Champions Super Grand Prix, which will be held at the end of the season amongst the winners of the 2018 stages.
The two-time champion of the circuit put on a show on the 17-year-old Ursula XII in a very fast lap on a course that brought out the skills of sprinter whose long lines in the wide grass arena seemed made especially for the wide strides of Ursula: an invitation to open the gas that Brash did not need a second invitation for.
Daniel Deusser was in second place with Tobago Z, followed by Italy’s Alberto Zorzi riding Contanga, both riders have booked their place for the play-offs in Prague in December that will awarding qualification for the Longines Global Super Grand Prix.
After the enthralling victory Brash revealed that, passport to hand, this could be the last season for Ursula XII despite the jumper still being in excellent condition.
Among the riders most applauded by the Mexican public was Nicolas Pizarro, riding Ares, 5th place at the end of the competition with 4 penalties.
Ten riders ended the jump-off with 4 penalties including the German Christian Kukuk of the Ludger beerbaum team on Limonchello NT and the Belgian Nicola Philippaerts on H & M Chilli Willi.
