Show Jumping: Govoni in contention again in Arezzo

Ten competitors took part in the final one metre 50cm. barrage time trial last night, for the Global Champions Tour CSI5* in Arezzo, and all finished within four seconds of each other.
Two Italians were part of that ten, Gianni Govoni on Joyau d’Opal and Piergiorgio Bucci on Da Zara Portorico. Govoni finished second, only 40/100 of a second behind the winner Henk Van de Pol riding Rhodos (0-34.36) whilst Bucci finished tenth (0-38.63).
Third place went to Isovlas Socrates riden by Edwina Alexander of Australia.
