Show Jumping: the “hottest and longest” weekend of the year

Next weekend will be without doubt “the hottest and longest” of the year, both because summer officially starts with the solstice (the longest day of the year) and because Europe will be shining with stars. The stars we are talking about are those involved in the many equestrian events throughout Europe, with the CSIO5* in the Netherlands taking centre stage followed by the CSI4* in Portugal, where the Italian Garcia will be participating, to the CSI3* in Vidaban, France. This last event has been chosen as the pick of the bunch because the most in form Italian, according to FEI ranking, Gianni Govoni will be jumping. Keeping him company amongst the vineyards of Provence, 100 kilometres from Monaco and half-an-hour away from St. Tropez, at the horse paradise of Domeine Equestre des Grands Pins will be Jonella Ligresti, buoyed by her positive performance at the Cannes Global Champion Tour.
