The German champion Simone Blum clinched an important success in the Stuttgart German Masters 2017 on Friday evening in front of a 7,400 crowd in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle.  Riding her 10-year old mare DSP Alice, the 28-year old Bavarian became the sixth woman to win the second most important jumping class at the 33rd edition of this International Horse Show in the NeckarPark venue. She stopped the timer at 33,64 seconds, ahead of Sweden’s Henrik von Eckermann with Cantinero, who finished in 35,24 seconds. Third place was Marcus Ehning atop of Cristy. Blum’s efforts were rewarded with the winner’s prize of a Mercedes-Benz X-Class 4MATIC worth 65,500 euro. www.stuttgart-german-master.de photo: Stuttgart German Masters
