Smolders breaks away at the top of LGCT 2017

Harrie Smolders has jumped his way to victory at the Chantilly leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour 2017.
In second was Scott Brash while in third place was Philippe Rozier. Victory for Smolders means he also stretches his lead in the overall standings on 247 points.
There was positive Equestrian World for the two Italians taking part in Chantilly in the form of Alberto Zorzi and Lorenzo De Luca: 8th place for the rider of Stal Tops and 10th place for the rider of Stephex Stables.
Thanks to that result Zorzi is in second on 190 points in the overall standings while De Luca is seventh on 160 points.
