Spring Tour Lummen
The Belgian city of Lummen will host the first stage of the Spring Tour, one of the most important Equestrian meetings at this time of year.
The competition, which will be held on the well kept grass of the Equestrian centre Jumping Lummen will see top class pairs taking part but will also be a great occasion to discover new talent in the young horse category.
Along with young and amateur riders we will see numerous prestigious contestants such as the talented German Janne Friederike Meyer, gold medal winner in Kentucky. For Holland there will be Yves Houtackers, Emile Tacken and Mathijs Van Asten. Belgium will be well represented with many time medal winner Jos Lansink, current national champion Niels Bruynseels, Pieter Devos, Maurice Van Roosroeck, Koen Vereecke and Wilm Vermeir. Representing Italy for the occasion, Luca Freschi on Diljano Van Den Bosrand and Gabriele Ceola with l’holsteiner Chicago 83.
There are six races programmed for the first day, Thursday 7th April, starting with category 110 cm dedicated for 5 year old horses, followed by 6 year olds, the 130 and 135 with a jump-off and to close the 140 jump-off.
