After a long and successful career, Taloubet Z will be retired from competitive riding. The 18-year-old has won over 217 thousand euros and numerous intercontinental medals and, from the start of 2018, the stallion’s fresh sperm has been available.
The Leipzig CSI5*-W Grand Prix, which the stallion has already won twice, will be his final competition in front of the fans.
The offspring of Galoubet A x Polydor is one of the most successful active jumpers and his retirement was announced on his rider Christian Ahlmann’s Facebook page followed by a post on the official Zangerheide website. The post Ahlmann sang the praises of his steed; his speed, balance and genius as well as a fantastic character.
After his final bow, Taloubet Z will return to his birthplace, Lanake, to be with owner Judy-Ann Melchior at the Zangersheide ranch where he will be used exclusively for breeding.
