Sweden at the helm in Stockholm
The Swedish riders have kept their country flag flying high at the 2017 Sweden International Horse Show in Stockholm. Peder Fredricson stood out in the first day dedicated to show jumping along with his fellow countrywoman Irma Karlsson.Fredricson, atop of H&M Zaloubet, crossed the finish line of the 1.40m Welcome Stakes class slightly faster than runner-up John Whitaker with Argento. To the delight of the home crowds, Irma Karlsson and Balahe also finished as number one in the following CSI4* 1.45-class. This was also the qualification for Sunday night’s Sweden Masters, and the top six riders from this class are qualified, as follows: Irma Karlsson (SWE), Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA), Peder Fredricson (SWE), Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), Jur Vrieling (NED) and Robin Ingvarsson (SWE).
