Team Marignano take top honour in Montefalco

The 2018 south and centre Italy championship of show jumping hosted at the equestrian centre of Le Lame Sporting Club in Montefalco came to a close today with the challenge dedicated to the club teams.
The Marignano equestrian centre team claimed the victory. Guided by Sandro Palmetti, they totalled 69 points to leave behind the home team Horses Le Lame led by chef d’equipe Beniamino Capurso (66 points). Third was Rome’s Poggio dei Fiori team, guided by Antonio De Cesaris, that earned 49 points.
The stars of the south and centre team championship are Elena Briglia (Red Flame), Veronica Bartolucci (S.M. Conalta), Sara Barilari (Dreamlight De Muze) and Alessandra Pierini (Crock’n Roll).
FISE President Marco di Paola attended the event at the Horses Le Lame Sporting Club. ‘An excellent organization enriched by the family value,’ he commented. ‘Giovanni Zampolini, his wife Anita and their three sons, who share the same passion for the horses and are well known for their hospitality, have achieved a great success in this championship according to riders attendance, staff quality and technical coordination.’
