The 2018 Roman CSIO gets an upgrade

The big Equestrian World for the 2018 outdoor season relates to the Rome CSIO. The event, currently at its 86th edition, has been subject to a lot of discussions in recent months after the event broke away from the Cup of Nations but it turns out that the event has become of the prestigious Rolex branded competitions
The Equestrian World was announced following the agreement reached in Geneva between the renowned Swiss brand of watches and the Roma Piazza Siena CSIO; one of the most prestigious horse-riding events on the international scene since 1922.
The dates for the CSIO5* have been set from the 24 to the 27 of May in the breath-taking venue of Villa Borghese; which will host the Roman Grand Prix, the Cup of Nations, the Fix Flags and the Carabinieri Carousel which has been the closing show of the event for over 60 years.
The Rome Piazza di Siena CSIO is one of the most fascinating events on the show jumping international calendar and the new partnership with Rolex reunites Piazza di Siena with its original values of respecting tradition and its long history: the field will regain its shiny gloss, the stands will be full of VIPs and there will be plenty of space for the public in the lovely Villa Borghese.
Rolez, the official timekeeper of the event, has been supporting show jumping for 60 years, a long love affair with the world of horses in the spirit of fair play, discipline, competence, talent and precision.
