The Assi Cup: Palermo tournament postponed

Due to the adverse weather conditions in Sicily the 51st International Equestrian Tournament in Palermo has been postponed. The organising committee of the show jumping tournament decided this morning in agreement with the head of the jury and the event director to put off the today’s meet. The decision was taken with the aim of keeping the field in decent condition for the more taxing and prestigious competitions in the up-coming days. The schedule for tomorrow remains untouched and the prize money available for today (Friday) will be distributed over the four competitions to be held.
