The President of the European Community promotes Endurance.

Assisi Endurance Lifestyle and the 2009 European Endurance Open Championship have a new fan, Hans Pottering, the president of the European Parliament. During Pottering’s visit to Umbria the German spent some time exchanging ideas with the only administrator of sistemaeventi.it Gianluca Laliscia.
During the encounter, which occurred whilst Pottering was a guest of the Province of Perugia’s President, Giulio Cozzari, the EC president expressed his feelings and admitted he was looking forward to the event in program in Assisi next September.
The president and Laliscia spent a quarter of an hour in pleasant conversation, and discovered to share more than a passion for horses, but also to share acquaintances, like Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who Pottering encountered just a few games ago, an interesting and curious development from the encounter is the fact that Sheikh Mohammed confided in Pottering that will be competing in the European Championship in Assisi.
As well as talking about their shared passions, Pottering admitted to being a fan of the Assisi Endurance Lifestyle and the global values on which it is based, not just the sports facet of the event, but also the cultural, social and economic sides.
“It is a clear example of how it is possible expand past ones national borders, geographical and cultural, to create a world which is united by its diversity” claimed the chief of the EC. In view of the wealth of content in these events that Hans Pottering has assured the patronage of the European Parliament for the Assisi Endurance Lifestyle 2009.
