France is continuing to invest in its breeding sector. After purchasing some of the most important international reproducers (the last of which was Namelus R from Holland) and arranging a top of the range horse-breeding event such as the one in collaboration with the Zangersheide studbook in Deauville, another top horse is set to arrive on French soil. The top reproducer is none other than the clone of one of the most sought after stallions of all time Chellano Alpha Z.
Chellano Alpha Z, who arrives from Zangersheide, will stay in France for the breeding season at Frederic Neyrat’s Beligneux le Haras structure in the wonderful region of Rodano. Chellano Alpha Z will be joined by another two renowned stallions like Tinka’s Boy and Gold Fever.
For a number of years Chellano Alpha Z has been producing some of the most respected jumpers. Let’s remind ourselves of some of those such as Chill RZ of Charlie Jayne, HH Carlos Z of McLain Ward, Unex Chamberlain Z of Tim Gredley and Challenge vd Begijnakker of Ludo Philippaerts, a foal from a genetic makeup similar to the original Chellano Z.
Chellano Alpha Z was the first clone by Zangersheide and its temporary transfer to France will make its services more readily available to not only horse breeders in France but also those in neighboring countries Switzerland and Italy.
