The unbelievable corner

Horses grazing on asbestos in the fenced area of the district of Pescara where prefabs were constrcuted following the 1980 earthquake. On the right the offices of the local social services, on the left the building of the 11-berth lodgings consigned by Eboli Council, in the middle a vast field full of tall weeds penned in by an orange fence marked by signs that read ‘Attention: high risk area’ and ‘Possible presence of asbestos beyond the exposure danger level’.While the bureaucratic questions are asked from afar concerning who allowed such a situation to occur so close to the local social service building, the absurd scene of a brown horse appears among the grass, lifts its head, looks around at the inquisitive people present and returns to graze the grass.
