Trekking: from Mt. Cimone to the Cinque Terre

Six day horse riding on the spectacular Apennine mountains starts Monday 21st September on the peaks surrounding the Monte Cimone, the highest of the mountains in the Tuscan mountain range. The trip has been organised by the ‘Gruppo Attacchi VdA – Appennino Modenese’, expert guides for horse riding in the area and who are especially interested in maintaining traditional itineraries that were once used as trading routes, as economic and cultural exchanges by the people of the mountains. The route has been mapped out by Tiziano Bedostri, a technician for the F.I.S.E (the Italian Equestrian federation) and will guide the riders through 3 regions, 5 provinces, 19 councils, 7 parks or sites that are protected, over a distance of 250km.
