Valkenswaard: Global Tour turns sixteen

Just a week before the crucial appointment at Windsor Castle, England, all the interest will be concentrated on the next stage of the Global Champions Tour CSI5* in Holland from the 21st – 23rd August.The logo is ready and sees a woman wearing trousers and black riding boots with an invisible hand that holds a whip that brandishes a red ribbon on the end of it. It is the 16th edition of the event and the slogan for the event is Equestrian Sport equals lifestyle. Over 30,000 spectators are expected to turn up for the competition and will be treated to at least 6 different events all valid for the Rolex Ranking. The Italians present for the Dutch stage are Gianni Govoni, riding high after his victory in Brazil, and Jonella Ligresti. They will be riding Don Carlos Cyprianus, Joyau d’Opal and Quintero 4 and Quinta respectively.
