Vienna Masters: two Italians on the podium ahead of today’s GCT GP.

The CSI5* Vienna Masters is now in full swing and today we will know the name of the winner of the latest stage of the Longines Global Champions Tour, the last one in which riders can qualify for the grand final in Doha, Qatar.
Ahead of the big event let’s take a look at the results from yesterday’s trials from the Vienna Masters. There was very good Equestrian World for the Italian representatives who both managed podium finishes. Emanuele Gaudiano with Admara 2 and Luca Maria Moneta with Connery finished in second and third place respectively in the Granitbau Opening over 1.45m won by Ireland’s Denis Lynch on Double O Seven. Denis Lynch then collected his second win after also triumphing in the main event over 1.50m, the Gaston Glock’s Championat Vienna, on his 11 year-old bay gelding All Star 5 (Argentinus). Germany occupied the final podium slots with Hans-Dieter Dreher in second with Embassy II (Escudo) and Ludger Beerbaum in third with Chaman. Italy’s Emanuele Gaudiano with Conoshynsky came in tenth place after collecting 4 penalties in the jump-off.
