WEG: the United States dominate to take the team gold in the reining

The USA have literally dominated in the reining discipline and amassed a staggering 667.5 points over the 4 rounds. The three tenors of the side are Shawn Flarida on Spooks Gotta Whiz (229.5), Andrea Fappani with Custom Cash Advance (224) and Mandy McCutcheon on Yellow Jersey (224). These three also occupy the first three positions in the individual category.
The silver medal went to Belgium with a total of 663 points. The side was made up of Ann Poels on Nic Ricochet (222.5), Cira Baeck with Colonels Shining Gun (221), Bernard Fonck with Sail on Top Whizard (219.5), Piet Mestdagh on RS Spat Mano War (216.5) and Matyas Gobert on Chicy Smart Jac (212).
The bronze medal meanwhile was handed to Austria who scored 658 points. This is how their team was made up: Martin Muhlstatter on Wimpys Little Buddy (224), Rudi Kronsteiner with Dr Lee Hook (220), Tina Kunstner Mantl on Cashn Rooster (214.5) and Markus Morawitz with Dun It Whiz Jerry (210).
Italy ended up in sixth place after finishing all 4 rounds with a total score of 647.5. Giuseppe Prevosti was the best Italian performer on Boemil Twin Robotop and finished in the top-ten in the individual category with 219.5 points. Stefano Ferri with Rooster Nic scored 215 points (21st), Gennaro Lendi on Piccolo Spanish 213 (35th), Pietro Artinghelli with Samurai Snap 212 (41st) and Stefano Angelucci on AB Captain Badger 211 (45th).
