LAV, in collaboration with the Marionette degli Accettella Lanciano Theatre in Rome, have launched a really wonderful project called “Storie d’amore e libertà“ (Stories of love and liberty) which has the aim of teaching the latest generation about respect for animals.
LAV is an important Italian animal rights group and the idea for its latest project came after a meeting with the Accettella Theatre, a historic company from the Italian capital specialized in children’s entertainment. What followed was the decision to make 12 visits to elementary schools as well as a show called “AnimAnimali“.2 actors will tell stories, fairy tales and nursery rhymes about animals and the show will be brought to life and keep the children engaged thanks to the use of puppets and shadow effects.
“AnimAnimali“ is set to appear at theatres in Rome and the first show is on Saturday the 29th of November and Sunday the 30th of November at the Mongiovino Theatre. Tickets are available at 8.00 € and showings are scheduled for 16.00 and 17.30.
