World Cup heads to Belgium

The ninth leg of the Longines FEI World Cup™ 2016/2017 for West Europe will begin on December 26 in Mechelen, Belgium.Flying the flag for Italy will be Lorenzo De Luca, no. 2 in the world rankings, with Armitages Boy, Balou de Coeur Joye and Halifax Van Het Kluizebos.
Italy’s other hope will be Emanuele Gaudiano with Caspar, Carlotta, Corbanus and Guess
In addition to show-jumping, Mechelen will also be staging the FEI World Cup Vaulting. Anna Cavallaro has already qualified and won’t be present but Silvia Stopazzini will be there for the Azzurri.
