World Cup: Smolders on song in Belgium

Harry Smolders has closed out a 2017 to remember by winning the latest leg of the World Cup which was held in Mechelen. The rider was in action with 13 year-old KWPN Zinius (Nabab de Reve).
Smolders was one of five riders to register a double clear with Henrik von Eckermann coming second with Mary Lou 194 and Italy’s Lorenzo De Luca coming third with Halifax van het Kluizebos.

In the overall standings we now find Henrik von Eckermann leading on 57 points followed by Staut on 53 and Edwina Tops-Alexander on 50 points.
