World Cup stops off in Guadalajara
This week the Guadalajara Country Club, in Mexico, is hosting a CSI4*-W valid for the North American division of the World Cup. The week kicked off with two competitions: the 1.30m Jalisco Cup and the 1.40m FEM Cup; FEI course designer Guilherme Jorge designed the tracks for both events.
The Jalisco Cup started the day off and five pairings finished within seconds of each other, but the fastest was Juan Ignacio Pacheco, riding Botija la Campana, who finished in 25.84 seconds.
39 pairings took part in the 1.40m FEM Cup in the afternoon, with Jorge Canedo Vincent and 12-year-old Nintara coming out on top.
Today the races will continue with the 1.35m Mexico Ecustre Cup, followed by the 1.40m Loteria Nacional and then the Tequila Reserva de la Familia Cup, whose winner will qualify for the World Cup.
