Young horses and local riders out to grab the limelight in Puglia

Ruvo di Puglia in South Italy will be taking centre stage between the 10-12 November for the A1* Competition for 4, 5, 6 and 7 year-old horses. The event will also mark the 10th anniversary of the Terra degli Ulivi Team.
What’s more, it’s a chance for the horses born and bred in the region to strut their stuff not to mention local riders. One of these is the star from the region Puglia, Lorenzo De Luca, ranked no. 4 in the world.
The Italian athlete was also part of Team Italy’s impressive triumph in the Nations Cup at the Piazza di Siena after a 32 year wait for victory on home soil. But there are also others on hand such as Francesco Franco, Simona Gigante, Luca Calabro, Gianluca Caracciolo and Domenico Carlino.
