
Youth CSIO Gorla Minore competitors

With two days missing from the kick-off of the youth CSIO in Gorla Minore, all the Federations have announced the name list of the athletes representing their respective countries and who are awaited for tomorrow afternoon at 6pm.
Seven are the National squads in action in Gorla for a total of 41 athletes and 54 horses only in the pony category: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Eight countries will be represented for the children category: Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland.
The junior category includes 68 riders and 119 horses coming from Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Svitzerland and Ukraine.
Eight are also the countries involved in the Young Riders category where 46 riders will be featuring for Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Ukraine.
Among the jewels in Italy’s crown are 2017 European champion for Children Lorenzo Correddu, along with 2017 European team champions for junior category Giacomo Casadei, Ignazio Uboldi and Francesco Correddu (Casadei also won individual bronze medal) and 2017 Italy squad bronze medal winners for young category Tommaso Gerardi and Guido Franchi.
