We’ve reached the stage of the week when we look ahead to the weekend’s events from the equestrian world. There are many stand-out competitions including the CSI5* Los Angeles Masters in California (USA), but we will dedicate a separate Equestrian World article to this event.
In Asia, the Incheon Olympic Council of Asia (Korea) is hosting the 17th edition of the Asian Games. 13 thousand athletes are taking part in these championships that include 36 disciplines of which show-jumping, dressage and eventing.http://www.ocasia.org/
Closer to home, we have the Vilamoura CSI2* in Portugal where starting from the 25th of September, athletes will be taking part for 4 weeks in the Vilamoura Champions Tour. Italian Elio Travagliati will be designing the course and putting the riders to the test during the second week of competition. Further, two Italians will be competing from today as Lorenzo De Luca and Marta Bottanelli take to the field in the opening trial from 1.35m and 1.45m.
