Marked down on the calendar this week are numerous CSI3* events along with a 5 star event taking place in Paris.
Let’s start with the latter, the CSI5* Saut Hermès Grand Palais, which will be broadcast live to over 20 countries but unfortunately not in Italy. The sixth edition of the Parisian event begins officially tomorrow and the main course which will put some of the best riders to the test will be designed by Frank Rothenberger. An under-25 tournament is also scheduled, the Les Talents Hermès CSIU25, while the stand out trial is the Hermès GP with a staggering 400.000 euros in prize-money.
European Champion Roger-Yves Bost is amongst the riders who will be present alongside the new Longines number 1 Daniel Deusser. Click here to see a full list of those taking part: http://www.hippobase.com/EventInfo/Entries/CompetitorHorse.aspx?EventID=801
The first trials begin from 12.30 tomorrow: the Prix du Grand Palais, Les Talents Hermes and the Prix Hermes Sellier.www.sauthermes.com
Let’s turn our attention now to the CSI3* competitions which are scheduled all across Europe. However two of them are taking place in Belgium: in Lummen (Springtour Lummen, click here for live streaming: http://www.jumpinglummen.be/springtour-2015/live-streaming.html) and in Lanaken (live streaming: http://www.horse-live.com/en).
The Riviera Sun Tour at the Horses Riviera Resort meanwhile continues at San Giovanni in Marignano. Once again, a live streaming service has been made available: http://www.horsesrivieraresort.com/Pages/Default.aspx
Finally, Spain is playing host to the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour of Oliva Nova (www.metsp.es).
