Cavalli a Roma draws to a close.
The Italian capital hosted a great day of equestrian sport yesterday as part of the Cavalli a Roma event with both the reining and show-jumping disciplines taking centre-stage and bringing the third edition of the increasingly popular event to a close.
The crowning moment was the generational battle between senior riders and a host of their younger colleagues in the Fixdesign International Show Jumping in what proved itself to be a thrilling competition.
47 horse and riders did battle on the arena constructed thanks to the partnership with the Global Champions Tour and Jumping Verona, but it was Paolo Adamo Zuvadelli that came out on top to win this year’s edition.
The stands were packed also for the Pony GP, won by Romania’s Vlad Dumitru Stefanescu with Van De Mispelaere, while in the reining discipline the Nrha Open Shoot-In was won by the multiple World Champion Bernard Fonck with What A Wave.
