Countdown begins to Paralympics

As the Olympics comes to a close in Rio, the anticipation is now starting to build ahead of the Paralympics scheduled for September 7-18.
The big event will mark the 15th edition of the Paralympics and will see 4.300 athletes go head to head in 23 disciplines.
What’s more, a new feature of this year’s games is the addition of two new disciplines: canoeing and triathlon.
As for the Azzurri, 94 athletes have been confirmed so far to compete in 14 disciplines.
