CSI2*: Camilli does well in the Big Tour on Saturday in Roosendaal
Today’s races at the equestrian centre of Goudbergh, in Roosendaal Holland, have finished. It was a 2 star international from May 25th until May 27th. On Saturday, Emanuele Camilli took to the field on Carmello, a bay gelding from 2004 from Corrado I x Landgraf in the 1.45m timed category in the Big Tour.
A fine race from the Italian, culminating in eleventh place in the final standings. Holland’s Anne Lisa Makkinga on Waikiki won. In the Medium Tour (1.40m with Jump-Off), Italy’s rider finished with four penalties on the Jump-Off and sixth position. Again Holland won, this time with Maikel van der Vleuten on VDL Groep Zandorra and then his co national Siebe Kramer on Van Meta, followed by Jasper Kools for Germany on Amos. Elisa Zugnac, in the Small Tour and Edesa Conchita, took a good 8th place in the 1.35 Jump-Off category, finishing with no errors and a time of 42.73. Tim Franssen (HOL) on Ensor won with 39.27 seconds.
