CSI2* Sopot: Big Tour for Skrzyczyński
The first winner of the Big Tour at CAVALIADA Sopot was home athlete Jarosław Skrzyczyński.
The first Big Tour competition of CAVALIADA Sopot – Speed Masters, for the prize of Horse & Business Magazine, under the patronage of tylkoskoki.pl, saw 37 horse-and-rider combinations on the staring list. 14 of them managed to clear the course, set at 140 cm. Jarosław Skrzyczyński (POL) took the win aboard 9-year-old Santos Hippica.
„The course was demanding, but not the toughest. It provoked short turns and many horses had some mistakes. [Santos Hippica] is a young horse, just starting to compete at a higher level. I think that he can be one for the future. I didn’t see the rides of the previous leaders, when I entered the arena, I already knew that I had to take some risks and try to make my way into the top three” – said the winner.
Andreeas Brenner (GER) followed in second with Lenox III, and third went to Dawid Kubiak (POL) with Estoril Fortuna.
In the heavily contested Medium Tour, for the prize of the Local Government Financial Congress LOCAL TRENDS, under the patronage of trojmiasto.pl, the winner was Zuzanna Niziołek (POL) with Diamanta Baloubet. Lithuanian riders followed, with Aistis Vitkauskas taking the second with Love Is On and Andrius Petrovas with Qarath van Paebroek Z – third.
Jan Bobik (POL) with Hasala was the best in the Small Tour, for the prize of In_Spire Foundation. Second place went to Klaudiusz Jach (POL) with Never Lose van Dorperheide, and third to Paulina Pellowska (POL) with La Coco 3.
In the Amateur Tour class, for the prize of IdeaExpo, victory belonged to Zofia Lewandowska (POL) with Casali. Zuzanna Chodnicka (POL) was second with Alexis BH, and Roksana Frączkowska (POL) with Venezia finished third.
