CSI3* Kiel: Baltic Horse Show, Dutch rider Bruggink awarded the Grand Prix in Schleswig-Holstein

Racing has finished in Kiel, in the extreme north of Germany in the traditional Baltic Horse Show, an event for riders from the Baltic nations. The festival, which also has an important fair and convention, saw vaulting champions for the CVI2*-W della FEI. For show jumping, the public could admire Olympian and European champions in a challenge with many prestigious riders from the North of Germany and races for Junior and Young Riders also. Julia Kayser (AUT), and Daniel Deusser, Janne- Friederike Meyer, Carsten- Otto Nagel, Franke Sloothaak, Mario Stevens from Germany, Ireland’s Jessica Kürten, Gert-Jan Bruggink, Marc Houtzager and Albert Zoer for Holland and Katharina Offel (UKR) were the biggest names. The highlight of the Schleswig-Holstein Grand Prix, category with a jump off and obstacle height of 1,55m, saw Gert-Jan Bruggink gain victory on Primeval Wings, as he won the 13,200 Euro reserved for the winner. Behind him was Lars Nieberg on Lucie and Jessica Kürten on Vincente.
