Eric Lamaze seems to have started the new year in positive form. After the victory in the 1.45m event in the first day of competition the day before yesterday in Wellington, the Canadian was repeated the feat yesterday on the first round of the Violette WEF challenge Cup riding Rosana du Park, with which, however, just the other day he finished in 4th place in the same competition which he won with Check Picobello Z.
The runner up was the Irish rider Darragh Kerins, with D Elia van het Molenhof followed in third place by another Canadian, Ian Millar on Baranus.
Lamaze has high hopes for Check Picobello Z as well as the 10-year-old Rosana du Parks (out of Kannan) with the former despite its inexperience ready to make the step up.
