Drachten CSI2* gets underway with Kirsten Rikkert win

The beautiful indoor arena in Drachten yesterday inaugurated the CSI2* and the big race went to Kirsten Rikkert riding the bay gelding Sorrento. A quick race for the Dutchman who finished in 56.05 seconds, second place for Marlon Modolo Zanotelli for Brazil riding Madame Butterfly, the bay mare of 2004. Third place for Jur Vrieling riding VDL Glasgowv / h Merelsnest, the stallion of 2006.
In the Small Tour, ninth went to Mario Verheyden riding Birbo Marshes, a 7-year-old gelding by Winner delle Paludi.
