Equestrian World: port authorities in Torre Annunziata find dead horse that was left to drown

During a routine control, the Torre Annunziata (NA) Coast Guard made a shocking discovery and found the corpse of a horse tied to a cart. The horse was still floating and according to the medical tests by the veterinary staff afterwards it had been dead for only a short while. The initial investigation into the act revealed that the cart to which the horse was attached was heavy enough to cause the drowning of the horse. The port authorities are now after the owner of the horse in order to take action against him/her for leaving the animal to drown.
