The Islander Project organised by Nicole Berlusconi came to a close last night and it’s safe to say that it was a great success. The project was created by Nicole to raise funds towards the Italian Horse Protection (IHP) and has been ongoing in Milan for the past 3 days.
The final day came to a close yesterday at the Gattopardo Cafè in Milan. A video was shown with clips of the terrible state in which the IHP finds the horses, but at the same time it also showed the priceless work done by the organisation which has helped save over 200 horses from wretched conditions.
Following that, there was an auction to raise money for the IHP and many important guests from the local community as well as the equestrian world showed their generosity. Further, the founders of the IHP Nardi Dei di Flicaia and Sonny Richichi were also present.
Another important guest present last night was Italian Politician Maria Brambilla who said that she would take the fight one step further and would be looking to make changes at the institutional level.
Finally, Class Horse Tv Global Media Partner was filming the events and in the following days will show the most important moments of the evening.
