Groundbreaking agreement signed between FISE – FITETREC-ANTE.
FISE and FITETREC-ANTE have signed today an unprecedented agreement to form the ‘Confederazione Italiana Equestre’ (Italian Equestrian Confederation).
The two groups chose to give life to their new partnership at the 117th edition of Fieracavalli: the exhibition dedicated to all things horses.
The newly found partnership will cover various areas such as the promotion and organisation of joint events and includes joint relationships with organisations such as the Regional Committees of the Italian Olympic Association (CONI) and the possibility of offices at regional level.
This is what was said meanwhile by the two leading figures on the new synergy:
“Today – said the FISE President Vittorio Orlandi – is a great day for both federations. We have to realise that we must work together, because it is only like this that we will be able to reach our goals in as quick a time as possible. We have started an important collaboration, but now we must immediately put into practice the goals of our partnership. I have said to the President Silvestri – finished Orlandi – that as of next week we will meet up to begin our joint partnership together.“
“Now – said the FITETREC-ANTE President Alessandro Silvestri – the Italian Equestrian Confederation has to start becoming operational. Among the priorities, is definitely to start organising events together and launch important initiatives with respects to the titles and reciprocity in the races. FITETREC-ANTE and FISE may have similar disciplines, but for CONI regulations, they are assigned to either one of the Federations. Personally, it has been a real disappointment not to see registered FISE athletes in Fitetrec races and vice-versa. But with today, we have opened up a new path with this aspect. We have the whole of 2016 ahead of us to best implement this important project which we hope to carry on for the next four years.“
