There were also 2 other very promising talents which deserve to be mentioned and the following were both inserted in the VIP Holsteiner list and named as Reserve Champions: Lorentins Best (Lorentin I x Cornetto) and Ikarus (Ibisco XX x Cassini II).
The following also received glowing reviews: Conditus (Casall x Contender), Chepettano (Chepetto x Calido), Damon (Damon Hill x Loutano) and Zornell (Zirocco Blue x Colman). There were also offers from Italy and the son to Cantolino x Corrado I, Chance, will now be making its way to the peninsula.
16 of those that were on sale at auction have found homes in Germany, whereas the most costly one was Conect da Catoki x Carpaccio at a price of 90 thousand euros and on its way to Turkey. 3 future stars meanwhile are heading to the North American continent. 1 to the USA (Laquino from Lasino x Quinar) and 2 to Mexico (Cascado from Cancara x Paramount and Captiva from Captain Fire x Calato).
Germany spent the most through investors, horse owners and horse breeders and together they spent over 1 million euros to get their hands on the talent on offer. 2 of these were sold for the second highest price at auction of 72 thousand euros: La Boheme (Lantino x Esteban XX) and Clover (Colman x Baloubet du Rouet). The third most expensive purchase, Christopher (Caretino x Contender), is also staying in Germany.
