Islander Project presents its objectives

Islander Project is a project that is making its way day after day in support of projects and interventions that aim to protect animals and especially horses.
The mind and heart of this project is Nicole Berlusconi, an expert horse rider who has known the world of horses since the age of 11 years, ever since discovering the dark side of the universe in which they are trapped many unfortunate animals so then decided to actively work in their defense.
Thus was born the Islander Project, that since it was launched has intervened in support of Italian Horse Protection ENPA in a series of charity events with the aim of raising funds for institutions struggling in defense of animals, mostly private and will sustain through private donations or through fundraising initiatives.
First there was “ Shots of Freedom“ , a photo exhibition held in Milan in February in Milan with a final auction that collected several thousand Euros for the Italian Horse Protection , a similar initiative was followed in recent weeks and has carried out in the Tuscan Tour in Arezzo and that gave ENPA an important economic support .
Islander Project wants to raise awareness and promote the recovery of older animals that are no longer suitable for sports activities or work that too often eliminated with excessive ease.
Older animals while failing to provide the energy that accompanied them when they were young do not lose their ability to communicate thus making them irreplaceable in pet therapy which is now widely recognized and appreciated by the medical community that is increasingly making its way into this world.
