Italy’s Garcia in France for European Championship qualification points.

A busy week of show-jumping events are scheduled in Europe and the rest of the world.
The main focus however for most riders is making it to this August’s European Championships in Aachen and their chance to start booking their places at the highly anticipated event presents itself as of this week.
Qualification points are up for grabs at the CSI3* Lons les Sauniers, in France where Italy will be represented by Juan Carlos Garcia with his mounts Bonzai van de Warande and Gitano V Berkenbroeck.

The equestrian event in France gets underway this afternoon with the 7 year-old horse category followed by a 3 star trial against the clock. As for the GP qualifier, we will have to wait until Friday afternoon 17.00 while the second phase of the GP qualifier begins on Saturday at the same time. Finally, and on Sunday at 15.00, riders will be battling it out in the GP proper which, as highlighted above, is worth qualification points to the next European Championships and also to the Olympic Games in Rio 2016.
