Martin Fuchs victorious on home soil

Zurich has been taking centre stage lately for the CSI5*-W Mercedes-Benz where there have already been a number of high profile competitions including the Longines Grand Prix over 1.55m which was won by the home rider Martin Fuchs with the KWPN Chaplin (Verdi).
Carlos Enrique Lopez Lizarazo was second with Admara, previously paired with Italy’s Emanuele Gadiano, while the final podium slot went to Switzerland’s Paul Estermann with Lord Pepsi. The only Italian representative meanwhile was Lorenzo De Luca who could only manage a 22nd place finish after 8 penalties with Limestone Grey. Moving on, Nicola Philippaerts of Belgium was victorious in the Mercedes-Benz Jump & Drive over 1.35m with Ustina Sitte. Following behind in second was Olivier Robert with Fidel Castro vd Withoeve whereas Simon Delestre was third with Troika Denfer.
Ireland’s Billy Twomey on the other hand emerged triumphant in the Preis der Top 40 with Ardcolumn Duke. Second spot went to Carlos Enrique Lopez Lizarazo with Cuplandra and third place to Leopold van Asten with VDL Groep Miss Untouchable. As for today, the action began with the joker over 1.45m which was won by Pius Schwizer with Electric Z. Paul Estermann and Simon Delestre were second and third respectively. Looking ahead riders will be strutting their stuff later today in the Art on Ice Championat and LGCT Private Banking Challenge.
