Nations Cup starts in Belgium
The first weekend of May is about to kick-start in Lummen, Belgium, where the Nations Cup of the European League will take place starting from Friday 29th at 6pm. The tour will come to an end at the end of September in Barcelona, where the final will take place.
These are the nations that will be hoping to pick up points. Ireland, with Bertram Allen onu Molly Malone, Greg Broderick on MHS Going Global, Anthony Condon on Aristio and Denis Lynch and Cian O’Connor who will be riding All Star 5 and Good Luck respectively.
Belgium will have Jerome Guery on Papillon Z, Jos Lansink on For Cento, Gudrun Patteet on Sea Coast Pebbles Z, Nicola Philippaerts on H&M For Ever d’Arco Ter Linden and a fifth rider Karel Cox who will be competing with Cor van de Wateringhoeve.
Germany will gave a formidable team with Daniel Deusser, Marcus Ehning, Hans-Dieter Dreher, Denis Nielsen and Philipp Weishaupt.
Italy, who won the event last season, will be going with Piergiorgio Bucci, Natale Chiaudani, Bruno Chimirri, Lorenzo de Luca and Davide Sbardella.
The Czech Rep. will also be competing and they can count on the young rider Emma Augier de Moussac, Ales Opatrny, Kamil Papousek, Zuzana Zelinkova, and Ondrej Zvara.
For France: Cèdrci Angot and Saxo de la Cour, Mathieu Billot and Shiva d’Amaury, Julien Epaillard and Quatrin de la Roque*LM, Jérôme Hurel and Quartz Rouge, Olivier Robert and Quenelle du Py.
