There have been plenty of changes going on from the show-jumping scene in Europe.
Penelope Leprevost has added to her choice of horses the 2005 stallion Vivaldi du Seigneur (Chellano Z x Darco), who has experience at the highest levels with Marine Blondet in the 1.50m category and who will begin to compete with the French lady-rider this autumn.
There is also a change for French rider Kevin Staut. After a year together, the 12 year-old jumper Oh d’Eole (Kannan x Papillon Rouge) and the rider will part ways with the mount going back to the Haras de Hus stables next week.
Away from France there have also been some other interesting developments. Belgian rider Gregory Wathelet has increased his options available by welcoming the promising Eldorado vh Vivenhof (Thunder vd Zuthoeeve) to his stables and it doesn’t end there. Another mount, Egano vh Slogenhof (Electro), is also on its way from the Stephex Stables.
The Belgian has invested wisely and with an eye on the future and can now rely on an envious list of top horses: Conrad de Hus, Atlantus, Riesling du Monselet and latest additions Eldorado vh Vivenhof and Egano vh Slogenhof. Let’s not forget either the promising young horses that are gaining experience elsewhere.
