Let’s take a look ahead now to the show-jumping (and dressage) schedule for this weekend. Highlighted in red on the calendar is of course the latest stage of the World Cup season in Madrid, but there are also a number of other interesting events taking place around the world from the USA, Brazil, France and Italy.
As mentioned above, the big event this weekend is taking place in Spain where the Madrid Horse Week will not only be staging the latest stage of the World Cup for show-jumping, but also a number of dressage trials.
The final veterinary checks for the horses will be taking place today at 09.00 before tomorrow’s competitions get underway. The first one is scheduled at 15.30 while at 17.15 there is a CSI2* trial. The day comes to a close in style with the Prize ABC over 1.45m, a CSI5* competition which is also worth points to the Longines ranking list. The riders will take on this course with 2 horses each.
