The excitement is rising ahead of the 5 star Longines Masters de Paris which will come to a close with the GP on Sunday the 6th of December when riders will be put to the test on a very technical circuit over 1.60m with big prize money on offer.
What’s more, there will also be a super bonus for the GP – but only Marco Kutscher and John Whitaker are eligible.
The former won the Los Angeles GP (part of the tour grand slam) and is a possible candidate for the super bonus of € 500.000 should he win in Paris. Should Kutscher then win the successive GP in Hong Kong in February, he would take his earnings to € 1.000.000.
The last Hong Kong GP on the other hand was won by Britain’s Whitaker and should he win there would be a bonus of € 250.000.
Representing Italy are Piergiorgio Bucci (Cuarta, Heartbreaker vd Achterhoe) and Emanuele Gaudiano (Caspar 232, Cocoshynsky, Farao of Heritage) as well as Matilde Giorgia Bianchi (Couer Blesse Z, Lejano, Una Bella Hs) and Francesco Franco (Banca Popolare di Bari Cassandra, Banca Popolare di Bari Quintor, Codetta della Caccia).
In the 2 star category, Maria Cristina Baraggioli (Gameboy Odelveld, Lake Conte), Andrea Calabro (Be Cool, Toyia d’Osthuy) and Felipe Coutinho Mendonca Nagata (Chandor 10) are Italy’s hopes. Emilia Bignardelli (Captain), Carola Cappadonna (Misha Prato) and Inigo Lopez De La Osa Franco (Diamand) meanwhile are carrying the flag in the CSI1*.
